Hi YOUTH,

For years people hoping to win your custom have offered some fantastic introductory offers on broadband, but on Monday that ends. Why? Because they've been banned from hiding charges in the small print. That means, while you might never see a “free” deal again, it could end up being a good thing.

The last few weeks have seen bad news for customers of TSB, Halifax, Santander and more – as the banks started slashing benefits for current account customers. We explain it all here, along with the best options to move to if you've had enough.

News also emerged this week that quite literally millions of drivers are paying £73 more for car insurance than they need to – and more people are making this costly decision every year. This is the simple thing they're doing wrong.

There was good news for deal hunters this week though – with Amazon launching a new service that lets you get the latest tech for even less; Tesco launched a 3 for 2 deal on toys and Sainsbury's unveiled a scheme that lets people double their Nectar points.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
